Yes. Via the web-based configuration interface you can freely map I/O channels to Holding Registers (4x), Input Registers (3x), Coils (0x) and Discrete Inputs (1x).

04 Does it work behind a firewall or NAT?

Since it uses the standard TCP port 502, network administrators can easily configure port forwarding. Remote access via VPN tunnel is also supported.
